People learn relationships from the people who raised them.
For some, this has given them most of what they need to navigate healthy adult dynamics.
For many, there’s a whole lot missing and a whole lot of question marks.
What’s healthy? How much is too much? What do boundaries look and feel like? How do I feel more secure? How do I feel less anxious? Why is my partner avoiding me? How can I have myself and have them too?
Our early years have so much to answer for, and until we start to understand this part of our lives and the imprint it leaves on our psyche, we will continue to repeat ourselves in relationships over and over and over again.
It can feel overwhelming but in my experience it’s definitely changeable.
10 years ago I started my own journey with attachment styles and began delving into secure and insecure attachment and how they play a huge role in intimate relationships.
I was dissatisfied with the limited viewpoint of modern psychology on how to create security and so went on a mission to discover what was possible.
Through studying different healing modalities and experimenting in my own life I began to realise that there was a lot more innate security accessible to us than what I had been told years earlier
AND love was a state that I could cultivate to the point of being able to access it any time.
I created my own body of work called Secure & In Love that was a combination of the practical and biological AND the spiritual and transcendent.
The intention was to help people fill in the gaps and forge a solid understanding of security and love in their BODIES that they could reference whenever they needed to.
When we leave our default setting unquestioned and unlooked at, we are signing ourselves up for a lifetime of unnecessary struggle.
When we are willing to take another look and learn new tools and techniques to support us in becoming our most full and loving selves, we are changing our world from the inside out.
It’s not about a bandaid fix
It’s about addressing the root cause of pain in the body
That ripples out into pain in our relationships.
And it’s not about denying the human self to focus only on unconditional love
Or denying the potential of spirit to focus only on the biology
It’s about bringing both along for the ride.

Having spent years studying the fields of human consciousness, trauma release, stress response, attachment theory, tantric movement and embodiment practices, Kathryn has established themselves as a specialist at facilitating the release of trauma and stress from the body, returning it to its natural state of embodied love and compassion.

On a self-healing journey since the end of 2015 when they had their first archetypal embodiment experience, Kathryn became obsessed with mapping their own system and learning from first-hand experience how the physical body and spirit work together. As an anxious and sensitive child and young person, they longed to unlock their full potential and understand their emotions.
Kathryn spent years studying secure attachment and holistic healing and went on to become a certified Spiral Practitioner and teacher of The Feminine Frequency Formula (formerly The Parasympathetic Restoration Technique) through The Deep Awakening (formerly WILDGRACE), combining specialised knowledge of NLP, Kinesiology, Spiral Dynamics, The Chakra System, Tantra, Sensual Meditation, and Yin Yoga.
